Starter Hive (1 Deep)

This starter hive w/ 1 - deep hive box which includes:

• Telescoping Top (heavy duty) with aluminum cap assembled and painted
• Raised inner cover - with top vent slot cut assembled and painted
• In-Line feeder with cap and ladders
• 1- deep hive box with 10 frames - with black plastic foundation assembled (easier to see eggs on black foundation) 
• Entrance Reducer - with 2 different size openings
• (Your choice) Solid Bottom Board - with 3/4 and 3/8 inch opening options or Screened Bottom Board - with front access mite board
• (Optional) Hive Stand – made of 2x6 pressure treated wood

This will give you a good start. But you will have to buy additional hive boxes as the hive grows. Typically on average one new box per month after introducing your new bees. In Utah you don't usually need more than 3 deep boxes per hive.
