QUEEN BEE INFO

ALL QUEENS ARE MARKED

Queen Availability

- Spring queens should be available for pick up the 2nd week of April at the earliest. We will schedule with you a time for pick up as they become available. Queens breeds are Carniolan and Italian mix. All queens are mated and proven before sold. Comes in a cage with a candy plug. It will normally take 2-3 days for worker bees to eat candy and release her. That's enough time for the colony to accept her.

*Check for availability before purchasing late summer. Queens are usually available through the end of July or August.

First timer here. Very pleased with the process! It was a cold day when we were supposed to pick up our queen, so they said it was no problem to wait for a warmer day! They day came and and it was a pretty process! 😊

My hives over-wintered really well and were exploding at the seams. Seth at Homers was able to get me 2 queens ASAP. I’ve done business with Homers for the past 4 years and they are the best!
