Formic Pro™ is a formic acid polysaccharide gel strip for the treatment and control of varroosis caused by the varroa destructor in Honey bees. Unlike Mite Away Quick Strips, Formic Pro™ has a longer shelf life of 24 months and no temperature requirements for storage.
 
Formic Pro™ are certified organic and is Safe to use with honey supers. The treatment is placed inside the heart of the hive for either a 14-day or 20-day treatment period with efficacy ranging between 83-97%. This quick, ready to use treatment will kill the varroa mites under brood cap as well as the mites on the bees.
DAYTIME TEMPERATURE HIGHS NEED TO BE BETWEEN 50°F(10°C) AND 85°F(29.5°C) DURING THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF TREATMENT.
